A Brief introduction...

We are a volunteer run, “not for profit” organisation with all proceeds going to support the running of the club and activities for the swimmers.

We are run by a Group of key Club officers & a Committee all of whom are elected each year at the Annual General meeting. The rules of the Club are vested in the Club constitution which has been validated and approved formally by the ASA NW Region.  In addition to the day to day running of the Club, the Committee also overseas a long term Development Plan which is part of Garston SC Swim 21 Accreditation.

Garston Swimming Club has clearly defined aims on swimming development and follows guidelines laid down by the Amateur Swimming Association regarding such things as Health & Safety, Child Protection and Codes of Conduct.
